Be careful lest in casting out the devils you cast out the best thing that's in you. --Nietzche
What can I say about Dharma? She is so full of life and energy that I'm constantly amazed by her! She is a very easy-keeper, settles in the house, but is a maniac when playing or working. She has an infectious energy about her that I love and hope to never lose!Dharma stands just under 23" tall, and 23" long, making her very close to square, especially for a bitch. She possesses lovely front and rear angulation, with a very level topline and gently sloping croup. She has an envious tail-set and length, with bone well past the hock, and very plushly coated nearly to the ground. Moderately-light bone with solid structure, she has a beautiful side-gait with balanced reach & drive. Also, she's got an easy-to-care-for coat (thankfully, considering how much she LOVES to get dirty!) that is short and plush with a nice moderately-harsh texture. Good length and arch of neck, and her head...I absolutely love her head. Undoubtedly feminine, she has a scissors bite with full dentition. Slightly tall ears, however they have a beautiful set, and look lovely with a full coat around them. Nice, clean lines, parallel planes with a moderate stop, and those eyes! In my opinion, her best feature is her eyes and expression! She has beautiful, very dark brown almond-shaped eyes. You can truly see her brain at work sometimes in those eyes, I think!

Photo taken April 25th, 2008, ungroomed, waiting for her frisbee!
Sometimes though, all you see is mischief! She does have a mind of her own, and is sometimes quite vocal about it! Remembering friends quickly, but typically more blase' around strangers, yet she absolutely ADORES small children. She is a bit pushy, bold and confident, and oftentimes quite opinionated. And she NEVER fails to let me know that she'd prefer to do things her way!Dharma loves to work--no matter what the job. She is currently training in obedience and agility. What she occasionally lacks in focus at the moment, she more than makes up for with enthusiasm! She is a blast to work with, still a bit too easily distracted, but very eager to please.

What the heck does “Dharma” mean anyway?
"Loosely speaking, “Dharma” is a Buddhist term that can mean a code of proper conduct conforming to one's duty and nature or living in accordance with divine will. Some say the highest Dharma is to recognize the Truth in one's own heart." ~Dharma Dog
